RankOffer-UK (“we”, “us”, "our") is a helper app built for professional ride-hailing and private hire drivers. The app works entirely on your phone, providing real-time visual overlays by reading only the information actively displayed on your screen.
We take your data protection seriously and comply fully with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
By using RankOffer-UK, you agree to the terms in this policy.
We do not upload, collect, or share your trip data. Your ride requests, passenger details, addresses, and maps never leave your device. All live trip analysis happens locally on your smartphone.
For your own local tracking, the app saves your analyzed offer metrics (including fare price, total miles, total minutes, price per mile, and price per hour) into a local history log stored directly on your phone. This information stays entirely on your device, is never sent to our servers, and can be completely deleted by you at any time through the history.
To manage user accounts, trial access, and our referral program, we securely store only the following minimal technical details in our cloud database:

To work as a driving assistant, RankOffer-UK needs a specific Android permission:
Accessibility Service: We use this strictly to read the text on incoming ride request cards so the app can calculate your metrics and draw the helpful visual guides on your screen. We never read your passwords, personal messages, background data, or content from other unrelated apps.

Account identifiers, referral data, and trial timing metrics are kept actively in our cloud database for as long as your account exists.
Using the "Delete Account" Button: We provide an option to delete your account directly inside the app settings. When you use the Delete Account button, the app will instantly and permanently erase your unique account ID, your email hash, your trial/bonus start and stop timestamps, your referral code, and any customer support history from our active systems.
Trial Abuse Prevention: Under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f), we hold a legitimate business interest in protecting our app from trial manipulation. Therefore, when you delete your account, we will retain the secure, scrambled cryptographic hash of your device identifier in our system. This acts as a secure, permanent blocklist that stops users from cycling infinite accounts to abuse the 15-day free trial on the same phone. Because it is a heavily scrambled one-way hash, it can never be used by us or anyone else to identify you, reverse-engineer your email, or track your physical phone.
We protect your account data using industry-standard security measures, relying on Firebase's secure cloud infrastructure and encrypted data transmissions. Because all of your trip analysis and offer history is kept entirely on your physical phone, we do not store any sensitive driving metrics, trip logs, or location data on our servers.
Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to look at any personal data we hold about you, ask us to fix errors, or request the deletion of your account records.

We use Firebase to provide our secure cloud database and user login infrastructure (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). This is necessary to safely process your account ID, track your trial timestamps, and manage our driver referral program.
